This week it is Mental Health Awareness Week and here at Mandale we are dedicated to promoting positive wellbeing in the workplace.

Mental health problems are a growing public health concern. The shocking fact is, a construction worker is more likely to die of suicide than fall from height. It has been cited as the 3rd most stressful industry. We take this seriously and have trained mental health first aiders appointed. In recognition of this week we have lots of activities going on, today’s was brought to us by expert Bethany Ainsley to advise our staff on workplace well-being and mindfulness.

Last year, several of our staff embarked on a mental health training course to engage a better understanding of how and why mental health problems can arise and how best to manage them.

Mandale will continue to work with our staff to destigmatise and treat all cases of mental health problems.
