Although there is still a few bits and pieces to sort out here and there, we really feel well looked after and are hopeful in getting everything sorted. Megan Buckell (customer care) has been particularly brilliant, efficient, fast and helpful in assisting us with everything so far. We are genuinely just very thankful and wanted to express that to you all.
We are absolutely thrilled with our new Mandale home, and the customer service has been faultless. We know it is expected to have some items of ‘snagging’ in a new build home but the small amount we had were all minor things. The customer care team are polite, responsive and very helpful. They attend on time and are respectful of our home and the works are carried out in a very tidy manner! They answered all of our questions regarding decorating and put our minds at rest about some queries we had. We could not ask for a better service!
We first visited Mandale Homes at Thorpe Arch, Wetherby in October 2012. We really liked the look of the properties and the layout of the development. We found the sales team very helpful. The whole of the Mandale Team were very informative about every aspect of our new home, from room layouts, plumbing, electrics to interior furnishings. Nothing was too much trouble… even if we asked for a different kitchen to the one we had first chosen. We first found choosing the flooring, electric light switches, colour schemes, door knobs etc. quite overwhelming. We were reassured by the team who were very helpful, professional, friendly and patient! Our new home is absolutely beautiful. It is everything we wanted and much more. We have been living in our home for over six months and we still feel like we are very much living the dream. Every day still feels like we are on holiday. The open plan layout is very similar to a Centre Parcs holiday villa, though our home is far more superior. We did have some teething problems when we first moved in but the after sales care staff have been on the ball. Any snags, faults and problems were promptly dealt with. There isn’t anything that we are not happy with; even our new neighbours are really nice people.
Buying a house is a stressful business. The Mandale Homes sales team eased the situation considerably, including finding a solicitor for us, complete with discount! With it being a new build, we had to choose flooring, tiles, etc. When the house has not been built, it can be difficult to make these kind of decisions. The sales team helped us make some good choices, and helped prevent some bad ones. So I can say, hand on heart, the sales team made the purchase as easy as is possible. We love the house; we have a splendid view, the rooms (especially downstairs), are a good size and the level of insulation is excellent. However, as with any new build, there have been ‘snags’. Something about Mandale Homes that impresses us, is that once a problem is reported, they stick at it until it is sorted. The job progress is co-ordinated and pursued in a proactive manner from the centre. These problems are addressed either by the contractors who performed the original work, or by Mandale’s maintenance superman; a guy who seems to be able to turn his hand to any task, and execute it superbly! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mandale Homes to anyone.
