On 21st June 2016 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Yorkshire Regiment, The 2nd Battalion, led by the Royal Armoured Corps band, proceeded through Middlesbrough from the Cenotaph into Centre Square.

To show our support for the incredible service of our armed forces we provided refreshments and lunch for the troops once the parade had finished. Lunch was served in The Hub, at Teesside University, and allowed some of our staff to have an informal chat with those that participated in the march. We couldn’t have asked for better weather (although I imagine the troops were feeling the heat!) and it was a fantastic event for the folk of Middlesbrough and all involved.

Thank you to the members of the Yorkshire Regiment for this parade, and to all members of our armed forces, past and present for the service and the freedom you have given to us.
