It’s a very exciting time at Mandale Homes as we have made the shortlist for the Prestigious Premier Excellence Awards 2015.

The Excellence Awards recognises and celebrates the UK’s best developments covered by the Premier Guarantee Schemes. Premier are a leading structural warranty provider and aid us and various other clients to build high quality developments.

In order to give buildings that go above and beyond what is expected recognition, Premier decided to launch the Excellence Awards.

One of our housing developments has been shortlisted for the prestigious National Awards. We have been shortlisted by the warranty provider for the development of Ryton Springs, North Anston, Sheffield in the category “Medium Development of the Year”.

We will be up against other national house builder developments across the UK. It is such a great privilege for us to be nominated as you can’t nominate yourself for these awards. The Premier surveyors pick the nominees after viewing the developments, and you are only entered if all or more of the requirements are met, and we ticked all the boxes.

Harriet Spalding, Marketing Manager here at Mandale Homes has said of the nomination:

Ryton Springs is one of the best developments in Sheffield, offering 3 & 4 bedroom homes on a development of only 13 homes. It also offers excellent commuting distance to Sheffield and easy access to the motorway, as well as being set in a lovely rural location.

We have several developments in and around the Yorkshire area with plans submitted for more developments in the future and one coming very soon in Blaxton, Doncaster.

Jonathan and Hannah moved into their stunning new Mandale Home in Claro Mews, Otley and still can’t stop raving about the excellent service they received from our team.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new Mandale home, and the customer service has been faultless. We know it is expected to have some items of ‘snagging’ in a new build home but the small amount we had were all minor things. The customer care team are polite, responsive and very helpful. They attend on time and are respectful of our home and the works are carried out in a very tidy manner! They answered all of our questions regarding decorating and put our minds at rest about some queries we had. We could not ask for a better service!

We are currently developing 26 stunning 2 & 3 bedroomed homes in the market town of Pontefract and believe in ensuring that we also give something back to the local area.

The Wheelchair Wasps FC is a power chair football team based in Yorkshire which gives disabled children the opportunity to compete in a competitive sport. It is also very close to Mandales heart, in 2014 we built a specially designed home for one of the players, Adam Rogerson and his family and have ensured we continue to support his amazing family and team. They came to us for help when the Wasps needed a new team strip. So we launched a competition to the local schools to design a new logo for them, which we will then have printed on to the new strips for the whole team.

The lucky winner of this competition was Ben Ellis from Larks Hill School, who won 2 Leeds Rhino tickets and the chance to meet Ronny the Rhino himself.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who entered this competition & for all of the support from everyone involved.

The Rogerson Family moved into a Mandale Home before Christmas.

Here is what Mr Rogerson had to say…

We first visited Mandale Homes at Thorpe Arch, Wetherby in October 2012. We really liked the look of the properties and the layout of the development. We found the sales team very helpful.

The whole of the Mandale Team were very informative about every aspect of our new home, from room layouts, plumbing, electrics to interior furnishings. Nothing was too much trouble… even if we asked for a different kitchen to the one we had first chosen. We first found choosing the flooing, electric light switches, colour schemes, door knobs etc quite overwhelming. We were reassured by the team who were very helpful, professional, friendly and patient! Our new home is absolutely beautiful. It is everything we wanted and much more. We have been living in our home for over six months and we still feel like we are very much living the dream. Every day still feels like we are on holiday. The open plan layout is very similar to a Centre Parc holiday villa, though our home is far more superior. We did have some teething problems when we first moved in but the after sales care staff have been on the ball. Any snags, faults and problems were promptly dealt with. There isn’t anything that we are not happy with, even our new neighbours are really nice people.

At Mandale Homes we are proud of the service and the product that we provide to our customer.

When we hear of a buyer who is over the moon with their new home we like to shout about it!

This customer moved into our development at Cross Farm Court, Fairburn at the start of this year. He wrote to us yesterday to let us know how pleased he was with his house.

Buying a house is a stressful business. The Mandale Homes sales team eased the situation considerably, including finding a solicitor for us, complete with discount! With it being a new build, we had to choose flooring, tiles, etc. When the house has not been built, it can be difficult to make these kind of decisions. The sales team helped us make some good choices, and helped prevent some bad ones. So I can say, hand on heart, the sales team made the purchase as easy as is possible.

We love the house; we have a splendid view, the rooms (especially downstairs), are a good size and the level of insulation is excellent. However, as with any new build, there have been ‘snags’. Something about Mandale Homes that impresses us, is that once a problem is reported, they stick at it until it is sorted. The job progress is co-ordinated and pursued in a proactive manner from the centre. These problems are addressed either by the contractors who performed the original work, or by Mandale’s maintenance superman; a guy who seems to be able to turn his hand to any task, and execute it superbly!

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mandale Homes to anyone.
