Training the Mandale Way!

On the 3rd August Mandale Homes Sales and Marketing team got together to develop new initiatives and do some good old fashioned team building!

Staff travelled from all over the country to come together and share their expertise and ideas with one another. Keep an eye out on our developments for some new and exciting branding hitting our sites soon. After a very successful day the team all went out for some delicious food and well deserved drinks.

Mandale forced to admit defeat after a sterling effort!

The Mandale Mighty’s were back at the annual Daisy Chain dragon boat race to defend their title at the Tees Barrage.

Daisy Chain is a fantastic local charity providing support for families with children suffering from autism, the boat race was the perfect opportunity to support a great charity and bring out our competitive side!

July 1st brought sunny weather and a team filled with hope. There were three rounds to get through before anyone made it to the semi-final and finals. Tension built throughout the day and the commentator enjoyed reminding everyone Mandale were the reigning champions and encouraged the other teams to rally together and take the trophy from us. The Mandale Mighty’s first race wasn’t until race seven so there was time to study the other teams formations.

A lot of effort and some strategic placing of team members within the boat saw Mandale win their first race with the second and third race following suit. Mandale were odds on favourites to win the competition being the only team to win all three races!

The semi-finalists were announced and Mandale were in race three against the same team they had just beat so hopes were high.

As the team set off it seemed pressure had gotten all too much as Mandale were out of sync and water was flying everywhere! Alas the other team took the lead and Mandale had to admit defeat. The only saving grace was that the same team went on to win overall so Mandale were only beaten by the new champions!

Next year will bring new hope and renewed energy to win back the trophy and put it in its rightful place.

Work underway at our new £3m development near Leeds

June saw the start of work at our new £3m development for 12 new homes on a brownfield site in Micklefield, east of Leeds and close to Sherburn in Elmet and Garforth.

The ‘Manor Chase’ scheme of high-spec, three and four-bedroom houses, due for completion in April next year, has already seen high levels of interest from prospective buyers, with prices starting at £199,950 for a three-bedroom semi-detached house. The site, on Great North Road in Micklefield, was formerly occupied by agricultural outbuildings.

Richard Harriman, operations director at Mandale Homes, said:

Not only is it a great family-orientated community, with shops, a primary school and a pub, Micklefield has probably the best transport links of almost any village in the country. As well as its own railway station and just a 20 minute train journey into either Leeds or York, the A1 (M) and M1 motorways are both practically on the doorstep giving easy access to almost anywhere in Yorkshire.

He added:

Each new development Mandale builds is designed individually to ensure there is an aesthetic fit with the local surroundings. Not surprisingly there has been considerable interest in this development from potential buyers, and five of the 12 properties have already been reserved off plan.

Another Mandale Home Development Sells Out!

Our Doncaster development Blakestone Glade at Blaxton has all sold out!

We first arrived on site in November 2015, completion is now nearing with only a month of build left and all 34 houses sold.

This development is within the centre of a small, quiet village and is made up of a stunning collection of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes. Those lucky enough to have already moved in are enjoying the benefits of their beautifully presented home with outstanding specification. It won’t be long before everyone will be settled in and meeting their new neighbours.

We wish all the residents all the best in their new homes.

Cavendish Vale – All sold out!

We are delighted to announce that our stunning development in Slingsby has now sold out with all residents enjoying their new homes and the surrounding area.

Set on the border of the Howardian Hills Area of National Beauty, this village, with neighbours like Hovingham, Fryton and Barton-Le-Street, making it simply idyllic.

At Mandale Homes we are not just passionate about building a superb place for you, but also homes that are sympathetic to the surrounding environment and that meet the needs of the local community. Cavendish Vale does exactly that, the individually designed homes compliment the location and are tucked away by it’s surrounding retaining wall.

From our time arriving on site it has taken only 10 months for all homes to be completed and occupied.

We wish all the residents all the best in their new homes.
